He’s shown us that the reason we live today and haven’t been taken up to Heaven is to share the gospel so more people can come to His saving knowledge. We live today, because someone else gave their life as a ransom. Reason why, pastors and congregation alike, are wholeheartedly committed to win and disciple the lost for Christ. The Jesus Model
Whehever we ask the Lord how to care for each member of the church, while reaching the lost at the same time. The Lord will ask you:”If you had been one of my twelve disciples at the time of my ascension to Heaven, how would you have done it?” To which we will answer: “The same way you did with me”. Thus allowing him to learn the discipling model Jesus used in His time. He chose twelve, raised them up and gave them authority, sending them two-by-two to preach, heal and deliver. Every pair had to do accordingly, so on and so forth. From that moment on we are able to see in the Gospels, the development and growth of Jesus Ministry. Thus, we may now extract the foundation of a vision saturated with Biblical principles, whose main objective is to reach and bless the multitudes.The Jesus Model is much more than just a system of growth. It’s a lifestyle seeking to bless every single individual person. We believe that God’s strategy for reaching people continues to be the same: miracles. Great but small
Week after week we all gather together as a congregation for a time of celebration and the Word. However, throughout the week there are home groups preaching the Gospel and raising disciples. We firmly believe that Jesus said that the fields (the world) were ripe for harvest. Reason why we unrelentenly, labor together with the Holy Spirit in changing every person from a consumer mindset to that of a supplier. Together as a church, we work hard for every member to be a providor and not just a consumer, for as the Word of God clearly says, ‘freely we have received….freely we are to give!’ We’re convinced that mixing everyones’ effort together with the Power of the Holy Ghost will make God’s and our longing desire a reality: To Win our nation and the world for Christ!
It consists of a pair of leaders opening an evangelistic home group and working to win the lost to Christ. They then choose twelve, out of these new believers and form a discipleship group otherwise known as a D-12, with the purpose of forming them into faithful workers of the Lord. Once they have been trained, these twelve are sent 2 at a time to open new evangelistic home groups, and so on. This way every member in the congregation, from the pastor to the recently converted, are all involved in small tight-knit groups that all together form a net in which one may give and receive. Each one belongs to a group and leads another. Furthermore, we believe that God’s strategy for reaching people, continues to be the same: Miracles. |
